Anne M. Belen went to college to become a Kindergarten teacher and came out a parole officer — and from that experience, she came out a writer.
She hosts the podcast Your Writing Does Not Suck, and regularly reads or chairs for The Pacific Northwest Writers Association’s annual literary contest with the hopes of giving aspiring writers a boost in the right direction.
When not doing any of that, Anne can be found baking for her daughter’s school fundraisers, obsessively watching BTS content on YouTube, and offering terrible, unsolicited advice to her eight siblings. She is a fourth-generation Seattleite and refuses to give up her umbrella no matter how much it makes her look like a tourist.
Anne is repped by Shannon Orso of Victress Literary.
